Chimney Repair
At Ryan Restoration & Masonry LLC, the safety of our employees and customers is our top priority. We always perform our work using scaffolding erected by certified professionals in compliance with OSHA standards. Care is taken to safeguard the roof surface and prevent any falling objects. In addition to rebuilding or repointing your chimney as determined during inspection, we offer a complimentary replacement of the terracotta flue liner if any cracks or damages are identified. We also re-caulk the flashing to ensure a watertight seal.Furthermore, we provide the option to form and pour a concrete cap on top of your chimney, offering a modern alternative to traditional caps. This design features a 1 1/2" overhang that creates a natural drip edge, effectively protecting your chimney from rain and snow.
Brick & Stone Tuck Pointing
If you need an experienced Masonry Contractor for your next project, look no further. We specialize in the meticulous process of brick/stone tuck pointing. Our services include grinding out old deteriorated mortar, cleaning out debris from the mortar joints, and re-pointing using Type N mortar that matches the existing color of your home. Additionally, we ensure a thorough clean-up by washing down all new masonry and the surrounding work area with a light acid-based detergent the following day.
Garage Door/ Window Lintel Replacement
If you notice cracks or broken bricks above your window, door, or garage door, it indicates that your lintel is corroding. Immediate replacement is advisable to prevent further damage. Rust accumulation exerts pressure, causing the structure above to elevate and remain unstable. This can lead to broken bricks, mortar cracks, and water infiltration.During lintel replacement, we apply a corrosion-resistant coating before installation. Additionally, we carefully seal around the window, door, and garage door frames to create a waterproof barrier.
